Hi,

After 15 years of working at leading domestic and global companies and banks, in March 2022 I founded Kurtovic Financial (previously Credit Analyst) and decided to continue my career as an independent financial management advisor.

From day one, I have been fully committed to the mission of helping you manage your finances and improve your company’s cash flow. So far, I have collaborated with over 40 respectable domestic and foreign companies on various projects – from credit analyses of whole portfolios of customers, development of financial plans and strategies, development of credit limit systems, creation of cash flow models, financial management as a fractional CFO, debt transaction structuring and holding numerous finance courses. The result of all these activities is a long list of satisfied clients, with a significant number of whom I have established long-term cooperation.

All this would not have been possible without the vast experience I gained in the previous 16 years working in the real and financial sector. I spent over 10 years dealing with credit risk management in three development banks – the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR). It was the experience of working at the EIB in Luxembourg that shaped me the most, considering that I worked with top experts of different expertise (finance, law, industry) and nationalities on financing projects of large and medium-sized European companies from various industries such as consumer goods, retail, investment goods, tourism, agriculture, transport, construction, etc.

Before banking, I gained valuable experience in the real sector working in controlling at Coca-Cola HBC, where I was in charge of analysis, business planning and financial reporting. Given that it was a challenging time of the financial crisis in Croatia and the restructuring process of the company, such circumstances prepared me for the most challenging situations already at the beginning of my career.

I was lucky to have very supportive managers throughout my entire career, who believed in me and encouraged me as much as they could. Thus, I had access to numerous top educations such as training programs of the world's leading rating agencies (Moody's, Fitch) and education service providers (Euromoney).

I graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Split majoring in Finance and Accounting. After graduation, I continued to learn, so I obtained the title of Certified Credit Expert from Moody's Analytics, Controllers Certificate CA from Controller Akademie München and the title of Authorized Accounting Forensic Officer from the Association of Croatian Accountants.
